At Writing Instrument, we are committed to providing you with high-quality, handcrafted portraits that exceed your expectations. We understand that sometimes things may not work out as planned, and we want to make sure you're completely satisfied with your purchase.

This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds may be issued. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

Refund Eligibility

  • Refunds are available within 7 days of receiving your portrait.
  • The artwork must be in its original condition and packaging.
  • Refund requests must be made in writing via email or phone.
  • Custom orders may have different refund terms as specified at the time of order.

Non-Refundable Items

  • Digital previews and consultation fees.
  • Custom artwork that has been personalized with specific instructions.
  • Artwork that has been damaged due to customer mishandling.
  • Orders cancelled after the artist has started work (partial refund may apply).

Refund Process

  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number.
  • We will review your request within 2-3 business days.
  • If approved, refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used.

Quality Issues

  • If you receive a damaged or defective product, contact us immediately.
  • We will arrange for a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.
  • Please provide photos of the damage for our records.
  • Quality issues are handled on a case-by-case basis with priority support.

Important Notes

  • Processing times for refunds may vary depending on your payment method and financial institution.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.
  • For international orders, customs duties and taxes are non-refundable.
